The story of 24 year old Aimee Copeland has captivated not only Georgia residents but the entire nation!  Aimee’s story is one of bravery, hope, faith, and strength.  After a zip-lining accident on May 1, Amy developed a flesh eating bacteria that led to the loss of her left leg, right foot, and both hands.  Through this horrible ordeal, Aimee and her family have remained both hopeful and positive.  Aimee’s story is truly one of inspiration!!

When we heard that Pulte Homes/Del Webb Homes was putting together a team of contractors to build a wing for Aimee, we jumped at the chance to help out this family!  1,970 square feet is being added to the Copeland family home, being dubbed “Aimee’s Wing”.  The addition will be completed in 40 days, just in time for Aimee’s exit from rehabilitation.  40 days may not seem long to build the addition but cannot compare to the hard work and dedication that Aimee is putting in while taking part in her rehab.

Northwest Exterminating is doing the termite pretreatment for the addition of Aimee’s Wing.  We are so proud to be a part of this project.    “It is an honor to be able to give back to such an inspirational young woman.  She’s touched the lives of many people and we’re grateful to be a part of this project” says Randy Wilhite, Director of Builder Development at Northwest Exterminating.  Aimee’s strength and courage have been an inspiration to all of us at Northwest Exterminating!
