About Northwest Exterminating
Northwest Exterminating is a family owned and operated exterminating company that was established in 1951 by L.A. and Emma Lene Phillips, most recognized by its signature Mouse. With 18 service centers throughout Georgia and Tennessee, Northwest is one of the largest pest control companies in the U.S., ranked 23rd in the country by PCT Magazine in 2012 (PCT Top 100).
Since its beginning in 1951, Northwest Exterminating has proven itself to be an industry leader in pest and termite solutions. Northwest developed NorPest Green in 2005, an environmentally-friendly and unique pest control option. It also practices green termite control with the Sentricon System, a termite baiting system that reduces the amount of chemical products from contaminating our soil and the amount of water needed in traditional termite treatments.
Today, Northwest has grown from an exterminating company to one that provides its customers with whole home solutions, with wildlife control services, expert lawn care, and green insulation services with TAP Insulation. In addition, Northwest provides advanced commercial solutions for businesses and new construction services for builders.
In addition to being a leading pest control provider in the Southeast, Northwest is also notably recognized as a top employer in the Atlanta area. Named the number four “Best Place to Work” in mid-sized companies by the Atlanta Journal Constitution in 2011, Northwest takes pride in its employment benefits and continues to strive to be a top employer. Team members, considered family by owners and top executives, are offered advancement opportunities, internal training, health and life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and many more benefits.
