Monroe Good Deed Team Creates Home Gift Baskets for Local Donation

Creating partnerships with community organizations is something that Northwest was founded on. Though we treat pests, we’re in the people business. Our Monroe Good Deed Team (GDT) has created a relationship with the volunteer team of Project Safe in Athens, GA who further help the women and children in need.

Project Safe is a nonprofit organization in Athens, GA working to end domestic violence through prevention and educational programs, crisis intervention, ongoing supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their children, and advocacy/systems change work in our community.

The Northwest team is touched by all that Project Safe does every day for the women and children looking to move forward in safe housing. Our Monroe teammates decided to create baskets full of cleaning supplies, batteries, and towels for donation to Project Safe.  The home baskets were the team’s small way of showing they care and support the people that the organization helps to serve.

Over the last few months, the Northwest Good Deed Team members have been looking for ways to continue to help our local organizations and residents that still support social distancing. We are thankful our Monroe team is looking for ways to make a difference and support the local organizations doing incredible things in our communities.
