Our Service Center Managers and Teammates selected a teammate from their team that they felt was truly extraordinary in 2022. Our goal as a Northwest team is to live and work by the Northwest Way and our 24 Service Standards – to provide each customer with the ‘Customer for Life’ experience! Below you will be able to get a small glimpse into what makes them extraordinary and see why they were each Service Center’s chosen Teammate of the Year.

Tamara joined Northwest in the spring of 2020 as an office professional.

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Tamara is always looking for ways to grow within Northwest and is always ready to lend a helping hand. She lives the Northwest Way and her positive energy is contagious. The Service Standard she embodies is Attitude. With the obstacles we face daily, some days more than others. Tamara can handle them in the most professional way.

What’s a fun fact about this teammate?

Tamara enjoys spending time with family and enjoys reading. She loves taking her dog, Cocoa, on car rides or walks!

In 2017, Dana was hired at our Canton Service Center as an Administrative Professional. About a year ago she was promoted to Office Manager at the Alpharetta Service Center.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Dana has exemplified the Northwest Way by being a positive influence on her teammates, putting customers first, and always finding a golden opportunity. She graduated from the Leadership Experience in Fall of this year. Dana most exemplifies the Service Standard, Innovation. She is constantly challenging old processes and coming up with new and efficient methods to complete tasks. 

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Dana currently lives in Jasper with her husband and two kids, Max, and Olivia.

How long has the teammate been with Northwest?  

Casey has been a part of Northwest since the Rice Pest Control transition in December 2021 and has 6+ years in the pest control industry. He began as a Lead Termite Professional with Northwest and has since become Universal Service Professional.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Since the transition from Rice Pest Control to Northwest Exterminating, Casey has been an asset to our team and is always there to help whenever needed. He has done an excellent job adopting the Northwest Way and the Service Standard that describes him best is, Culture. Casey strives to make sure all teammates and customers are taken care of and receive the care they deserve. Casey’s goal is to one day become Anniston’s Service Center Supervisor and we can’t wait to see where his aspirations take him!  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate?  

Casey enjoys going bow hunting and is a lover of all animals.

Our team appreciates the attitude that Chad shows up to work with every day. He is always gracious and will assist in areas as needed. His team is grateful for all the work he has done. The Service Standard that exemplifies Chad is Attitude. He intentionally chooses to be a positive light on the team and continues to showcase a fresh perspective for everyone else.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Before Northwest, Chad worked in the jail. He has lots of fun stories to share from that time!

Jordan is very dependable and shows kindness and respect to everyone he meets. He possesses the qualities of the Service Standard, Open to Growth. He keeps an open mind when helping other teammates with whatever they may need. Jordan is always willing to step up and give guidance to his peers.

Jordan enjoys spending time with his family and friends in his free time. He also enjoys the outdoors and deer hunting.

Elizabeth has been with Sawyer Exterminating for 3 years and began as an Administrative Professional in 2019. She is currently the Office Manager for our Burlington Service Center.  

How does this teammate represent Sawyer? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Elizabeth has earned this award! She shows up every day ready to be there for her team and is great at balancing her personal and professional life. She exemplifies the Service Standard, Attitude. She is a wife, mother, and currently works in one of the most demanding and busiest positions in the company. At the end of the day, her composure, faith in God, and family values allows her to easily embody the Sawyer Culture. We are so proud to have her lead our Sawyer team!

Elizabeth isn’t afraid to get dirty! She is an avid hunter and will even process her own kills.

The Service Standard Chad resonates the most with is Enhance & Elevate. He continuously assumes the best in every situation and constantly strives to elevate the days of others by maintaining a positive and gracious attitude. We as a team, are thankful for Chad’s extraordinary actions.

We like to consider Chad a true-life Pirate!

Trevor has been a Termite Technician since he was hired in 2019.  

How does this teammate represent Carolina Pest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Trevor is a great team player and always comes to work with a positive and upbeat Attitude, which is the Service Standard that best represents him. Termite work can be difficult, but he worked very hard to pass his North Carolina Certification exam and we couldn’t be prouder of him!  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Trevor has been vegan for a couple of years now and meditates daily. He even fasted on Thanksgiving, which shows a lot of self-control!

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Justin lives the Northwest Way each and every day. He is a very humble person and loves serving others. Justin is a great role model to his teammates and is always there for guidance and advice. His positive mindset allows him to properly showcase the Service Standard, Attitude. He is the person we go to whenever we need a mindset change.

Justin enjoys watching football and gaming in his free time!

Hired in 2021 as a Route Support Specialist, Bobby was promoted to a Universal Service Professional in 2022.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Bobby is the perfect Northwest Brand Leader. He displays many of the qualities it takes to be a Northwest teammate and continues to be a leader on our team. He has maintained a perfect driving record and puts the safety of others first. Bobby is active in serving others in the community and is eager to assist any of his teammates to make it easier on them.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Bobby is a great cook and loves gardening and being outdoors. We all enjoy his homemade pepper sauce and other creations that are made from his garden!

The entirety of the team has a combination of over 100 years of service to Northwest. We are so grateful for every person on this team! 

How does this team represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Everyone is receiving this award because they all were a big piece of the puzzle to Commercial Pest East’s success. The admin team did a great job with working on collections, speaking with customers, and keeping the rest of the team in line. The entirety of the team represents the Service Standard, Honor Our Teammates. They are continuously respecting and encouraging each person to reach their goals and work hard.  

What’s a fun fact about this team? 

Each teammate in Commercial Pest has a great sense of humor and is quite a character. Every morning and afternoon, there are many jokes that go through the office which makes the day fun and fast.

Justin began as a Commercial Route Support Representative 4 years ago and is now running his own route on the southside of Atlanta. 

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Justin has proven time and time again that he is a very efficient teammate. He works ahead to complete all of his stops and is willing to assist his team where needed. The Service Standard that best describes Justin is Open to Growth. He’s always willing to share his best practices and receive feedback and adjust where needed.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

When he was younger, he competed in many freestyle skateboarding events and is coined as an amateur Tony Hawk. He is now a country boy through and through.

How long has the teammate been with Northwest?  

Casey has been an integral part of Northwest since 2008. She started as an Administrative Professional in our Canton Office and then moved to the Accounting Department. In 2014, she was promoted to Office Manager for the Alpharetta Office. In 2016, she was promoted again to the Administrative Learning & Development Specialist. Casey received another promotion in 2021 as the IT Project Manager and just this January 2023 was promoted to Manager of Information Systems.  

How does this teammmate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Casey is a unicorn in that she has worked and led in so many different roles at Northwest. Her experience and relentless pursuit of making things better make her an ideal Northwest teammate and leader. She truly understands that empowering our teammates is the best way to ensure an extraordinary experience for our customers. Her skills as a consensus builder have been instrumental in fostering collaboration, leading change, and improving alignment to better serve our teammates and customers. She truly represents all the Northwest Service Standards.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

How cool it is to have a Certified Operator on our Technology Team!  She often introduces herself as Casey x2.  When you consider how young she was when she started and how long she has been here, she might even be the youngest teammate with the most tenure?

Nic has put in over 13 years of pest control service and began his career with Target Pest. He became a teammate with Northwest when Target was acquired in 2021.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Nic possesses a Servant’s Heart. His work ethic and character are the main reasons why he deserves this award. He is always willing to help in any way that he can. He is continuously looking for opportunities to serve others.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Nic is surprisingly really good at impersonating others.

Cassy has been a teammate at Northwest for a year and was promoted to Customer Care PM Lead in August 2022.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody? 

Cassy truly shows Initiative in her daily work. She graduated from the 2022 Leadership Experience and was promoted within a year. She has shown how much she truly cares about the Northwest Family. Cassy is great at coaching, leading, and assisting others with their duties. She is fun, honest, and patient.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

She wrestled in high school and won many awards!

Trish started her career in 2017 as an Administrative Assistant in Acworth before transferring over to Dallas in 2021.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Without being aware of it, Trish is constantly looking for ways to make everyone else’s day just a little easier. She approaches each day with the same intensity and mindset to make it as successful as possible for her whole team, embodying the Servant’s Heart service standard. Whether it’s supporting a new transition or helping a teammate, Trish’s reliability and hard work is constant.

When she’s not looking to make her teammate’s day extraordinary, you can usually catch Trish outside fishing as she’s an avid and knowledgably fisherman!

Jimmy started his Northwest career at the Smyrna service center as a Service Professional. Two years later, he worked his way from a Termite Professional to a Pest Management Service Professional! In 2021, he joined the East Cobb team.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

With a smile on his face, Jimmy arrives at work ready to support his team and customers with a positive attitude each day, exemplifying Attitude! Jimmy continues to invest in himself through participating in Northwest training programs, all while continuing to manage his responsibilities and routes each day.

To relieve a little stress, Jimmy loves to cut loose and ride his RZR on the weekends!

Myriah joined the Northwest Family in October 2020 as an Administrative Professional for the Smyrna Service Center. In February 2021, she worked with our Murfreesboro team, before finally transferring over to the Hermitage Service Center in May 2021.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

If a problem or challenge emerges, Myriah has always shown focus and dedication to help solve it and not allowing it to affect herself or teammates, truly Moving Forward each day. 

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

When she has downtime, Myriah enjoys learning all things about true crime!

It’s hard to choose just one Service Standard that Julie represents because she has truly shown that she embodies them all. In the past year, Julie has immensely helped Hixson’s Passing Program success and continues to support her teammates when they need her.

Julie is known for her love of Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Comic Series!

Aaron’s ability to adapt and overcome a challenge with a positive outlook has fueled his success, both personally and professionally. He is always looking for ways to lift others up through his words and actions each day, embodying the Service Standard #13, Attitude. Aaron continues to keep an open mind when taking on challenges and has always embraced the Northwest Culture, exemplifying Homewood’s success.

You won’t catch Aaron without his morning coffee each morning! 

When Aaron joined the Homewood Service Center, he immediately proved his leadership capabilities as he took challenges head on all while learning a new industry. Jason has been with Northwest for over 13 years, spending his career in the field as a Service Professional, QA Field Trainer, and currently a Quality Assurance Inspector.  

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Showing consistency and commitment to the Northwest culture, values, and standards, Jason’s actions and hard work has truly shown he’s a top performer within Northwest Exterminating. This year, Jason successfully and effectively rolled out a new Quality Assurance scoring and metric system for Northwest service centers, with the goal of enhancing his teammates workday, embodying #11 Servants Heart service standard.  

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

When he’s not at the Innovation Center, Jason and his wife enjoy riding horses and are hoping to own one one day!

When Chase shows up to work, he is always looking for ways to put his customers and teammates first, putting Customers First! Without hesitation or question, Chase always performs the tasks given to him and continues to be a great Service Professional that his service center and customers can count on. 

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

Chase loves spending time with his family and their dogs. He currently has 6 dogs and are always looking to add more to their “collection”!

Stephen is always looking to help and support wherever he is needed! He is always looking for ways to go above and beyond for his internal and external customers, always putting Customers First. Many on his team will describe him as the definition and true example of a great teammate!

Stephen loves to spend time with his young daughter, often letting her give him manicures!

When you visit the Lanier office, it’s certain that Kimber will make you laugh to ensure you enjoy your time there. She’s always full of energy, happy, and looking to enhance the attitude and daily outlook of her teammates with a positive smile or joke, embodying service standard #16 Enhance and Elevate 

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

You will probably find Kimber at the sports field in North Georgia after work with her two kids! 

“Kimber is our sunlight in the office! She is so full of energy to keep us on our toes and brightens her teammates up when their day isn’t going as planned, hence her nickname, SMILEY! Over the last year, she has taken over collections for Lanier with outstanding results. She’s always there to help our team with a cheerful attitude. Cameron is always looking for ways to help and care for his team, embodying Service Standard #11 Servants Heart.

Andrew has been a part of the Northwest Family for over 4 years as a Lawn Care Technician. 

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

If something is asked of Andrew, he will always get it done. He is well respected by his teammates and always brings a positive attitude to the team. During our meetings, he brings great advice, and you can tell he has a passion for lawn care and helps out whenever he is needed. Andrew embodies Service Standard #12 Values People. He treats his internal and external customers with the upmost respect, no matter the circumstances, understanding that we are in the people business and compassion goes a very long way. 

What’s a fun fact about this teammate? 

When he isn’t working or helping out his team, Andrew loves to be outdoors and will always try anything at least once. He often goes off-roading in his Razor, plays golf, and has recently taken up disc golf.

Sarah has been at the Lawrenceville Service Center for over 2 years as an Administrative Associate. 

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Sara’s growth as a leader this past year has not gone unnoticed. With her managers taking on additional roles within Northwest, Sarah has stepped up and taken on more responsibility to develop and support her teammates. It’s hard to choose just one Service Standard that Sara embodies according to her team, but #14 Open to Growth, #20 Initiative, and #3 WOW with Pride and Professionalism all come to mind. She constantly seeks guidance and implements any feedback given, looks to help others around her, and even takes on additional Learning and Technical Service courses while encouraging other teammates to do so too!

Sara loves to spend her downtime watching Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon!

Jacob has been a part of the Northwest Family for over 4 years, starting as a Technician Helper, soon becoming a Termite Technician in less than a year! In 2022, Jacob transitioned into his new role of running a full pest route as a Universal Technician.

Jacob represents Northwest through his attitude, character, growth, and attention to detail. Simply put, he makes everyone around him better and is a huge asset to the Macon Team. While many of his teammates will say he embodies all the Service Standards, #23 Embrace Change, is one they would pick for him for this past year. While Jacob was apprehensive at first about moving into the Universal Pest Roll, he still embraced the transition and attention to his customers, teammates, proper paperwork, and overall growth has truly shown this year.

On his days off, you’ll probably find Jacob cheering on UGA football and grilling out with his friends and family.

William is a true leader without a title. He makes sure that not only his route is completed, but his teammates routes are completed as well. William makes sure to communicate with the office as well as his customers. He always has a positive attitude and is always willing to help others when he can. The Service Standard he embodies is Honor Our Customers. William always puts our customers first by making sure ALL customers are taken care of regardless of if he is helping another teammate. Damian was hired as a Service Professional Pest Management representative and has been performing extraordinary customer service for all the 2 years and 9 months since.

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Damian is extremely humble and very detailed and customer oriented. He always ensures he gives each customer 100% and takes the time needed to service the needs of his customers. He also took the initiative, time, and energy it takes to complete the Spring Leadership Experience for the 2022 session. He is extremely reliable and respected by me, his manager, and his teammates alike. The Service Standard he embodies is Servant’s Heart. Damian embodies number eleven due to his humble service to his customers externally and internally. He helps where he can with the Team and offers his training to many of the new Teammates that come on the Monroe Team. He makes all our jobs easier by making sure he takes care of his route and customers to the standards set by Northwest. He has been a leader and example on the Monroe NPS score by doing his best to serve his customers’ needs.

Damian is originally from Jamaica and has a daughter that currently resides in London, England.

Kristin started in March of 2022 and has quickly become a vital team member to the success of the Murfreesboro branch. She always comes in ready to work with a smile on her face. This really uplifts morale in the office.

Angela has been an Administrative Professional with the Newnan Branch for 4 years.

Angela has grown immensely in the 4 years that she has been here. She truly shows her willingness and ability to be a leader and recently completed the Leadership Course with Adam. Angela is our Good Deeds Ambassador and works tirelessly to come up with volunteer opportunities for our Branch. The Service Standards she embodies are #11 Servant’s Heart, #12 Value People, #13 Attitude, and #14 Open to Growth. She loves giving back to the community and looking for ways to serve. Angela makes sure to send cards to all our customers whether it is in sympathy or congratulations. We can always count on Angela to make our workdays. Daniel began his career at Northwest as a Floating Technician in 2019. He worked his way up to a Full-time Pest Route in no time!

Daniel represents NW in the best way possible. Always willing to go the extra mile to make things happen! The Service Standards he embodies are #1 Honor our Teammates, #2 Honor Our Customers, #3 WOW with Pride and Professionalism, and #4 Communication. Daniel always puts his customers first no matter the issue. He sets up many of his own follow-ups to ensure his customers’ issues are resolved without them having to reach back out to us!

David has been in the pest control business since 2021 and has been a part of the Northwest Family since the acquisition of S&S Pest in early 2022.

David never has a bad day and always has a positive attitude. He goes above and beyond to take care of his customers and teammates. He is vocal in meetings and is a big advocate for the Northwest Service Standards. The one that he represents the best is Open to Growth. When he needs more information on something he isn’t afraid of asking questions and is very coachable and wants to actively lead in the Northwest Way.

David is a family man and loves spending time with his 2-year-old daughter!  

David is a team first guy who puts the needs of others above his own. He was an early adopter of the Northwest Ways with the S&S merger and never turns down the chance at a Golden Opportunity. Josh has always gone above and beyond. He is reliable and strives to make sure his customers are taken care of. Dennis joined Northwest a year ago as a retired Army vet and had done some work with the FBI. He worked for us throughout 2022 as a termite technician and began excelling at Wildlife work very shortly after he started.

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Dennis began at Northwest a year ago and understood our NW Ways and Service Standards and has never wavered in expectations. He holds himself as well as his teammates accountable to these standards. He has found new ways to troubleshoot and perform our Wildlife services to better take care of our customers and has played a huge role in the success of our Savannah Service Center by his innovation and the pride, he takes in his work. The Service Standard he embodies is WOW with Pride & Professionalism. By its very definition, Dennis embodies everything this service standard means. Whether it’s his positive attitude, appearance, vehicle, driving, and choice of words, he reflects the very meaning of our core values at Northwest.

Dennis wants to someday give back to our industry by developing new training techniques and training materials as well as writing publications in the Wildlife Management Industry.

Jacob started in Canton as a Pretreat technician 15 years ago. He then helped open Acworth as a Pest Professional, then transferred to Smyrna as a Supervisor.

Jacob has worn many hats this year for the Smyrna branch. He has helped us meet and exceed our monthly goals. Being shorthanded Jacob has trained our termite techs and been the termite tech for most of the year while also doing his job responsibilities. The Service Standard he embodies is Initiative. He has taken the initiative to get the work done. He comes in early and leaves late. He has helped grow and develop teammates to make them better. Jacob leads by example.

This year Tim has shown exceptional personal and professional growth. He has been able to recognize the areas of improvement and has sought help from his leadership and peers. Not being afraid to ask the hard questions and accept feedback either way. The Service Standard he embodies is Value People. Tim shows all teammates and customer compassion. As I stated he can lighten up a room with his laughter.

Martin began with Northwest 16 years ago, starting termite services and has moved to becoming a Wildlife Technician.

Martin is what all the guys here call the G.O.A.T. They all look to him when they need guidance. He might not say much but when he does, they all listen and follow what he says. He sets the standard on how things go out in the field. The Service Standard he embodies is Honor Our Teammates. He sets a good example for the rest of the guys here and really likes to share work stories with everyone to help us all grow.

This team comes in every morning with a positive attitude to start each day and this helps them to carry out this attitude throughout the day. This is what makes them a joy to work with daily!

Alfredo has been with Northwest for the past 19 years. He has been a part of every service Northwest has offered.

How does this teammate represent Northwest? What Service Standard do they embody?  

Alfredo is such a well-rounded teammate. He is the first to get everyone motivated for the day and the first to make sure everyone has everything they need for the day. He is always willing to help and learn and teach. He has a great relationship with leadership as well as his teammates. Everyone at Wildlife Smyrna has the upmost respect for him. The service standard that comes to mind when thinking of Alfredo is Honor Our Teammates. Alfredo is always looking for a way to help his team in any way he can. He is the first person to volunteer to go out and coach a new teammate or help a teammate learn a new way of doing things. He makes me proud every day.
