Northwest was stablished in 1951 by L.A. Phillips and his wife, Emma Lene Phillips. The company was founded on the values of honesty, integrity, and excellence. Today these values still remain the core of Northwest Exterminating as we have grown from a family of 2 to a family of over 500 team members and multiple service centers throughout Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, & South Carolina.
THE NORTHWEST WAY
With all we do, begin and end with the customer in mind.
DO WHAT IS RIGHT
In every situation, we can choose to do the right thing.
Put others first in everything we do.
Always go beyond what is usual or ordinary. Make a difference.
Continue to grow and pursue excellence in all we do. We see the value of progressive thinking, developing and innovating, and embracing change.
WHAT OUR TEAMMATES ARE SAYING
ENGAGE Specialist, Nashville Service Center
Northwest is one of the most genuine companies to work for, but to also have service through. There are no loopholes, hidden agendas, and fine print. We lay it all our for our customers to see and value them greatly. We are a company that provides extraordinary experiences and creates healthier living and working environments for homes and businesses. Northwest is amazing.
Commercial Account Executive, Commercial Sales
This is for both fellow associates, as well as others on the outside; I can truly say I have NEVER worked for an organization that invests as much TLC into its number one asset (employees). I have worked for very large corporations as well, been solo- companies like this are a rarity, take advantage, but don’t take it for granted.
Engagement Specialist, Chattanooga Service Center
This role gives me flexibility to work with our great company and promote our services and benefits to new home owners. Northwest is a little family! I think the family environment is the biggest reason our team in successful. It’s HARD to be a female in this industry BUT I think the guys truly respect the females who show their worth!
Office Manager, East Cobb
I have been with Northwest for over 11 years. I love the family atmosphere and I know for a fact, that Steve Phillips cares about every employee he has. I have gained pride in the company I work for, and self-confidence, as a result of leadership programs I have been through
Commercial Sales Manager, Commercial Sales
I joined the Commercial Team full time at Northwest Exterminating in 2010. I love working at Northwest because every day brings a new challenge and because the company makes an investment in each one of their employees’ futures.
Vice President of Business Development, Corporate
I am the Director of Builder Development as well as a part of the Leadership Team. If you are looking for an Employer that will care about you and your Family along with your success and development, NW is the place to be. NW changed my life and for that I am grateful.
Branch Manager, Macon Service Center
I love helping people and our NW vision and way of life gives me a great platform to serve others.
Human Resources, Corporate
The ability to use my past knowledge of accounting, finance and payroll to take on new challenges presented with working with a new company and feel a real sense of accomplishment along with enthusiastic team members has been a true blessing.

THANK YOU TO OUR VETERAN TEAMMATES
Residential Handyman Technician, Columbus Service Center
I served in the Army National Guard from 2005-2010 as a Heavy Motor Vehicle Operator, which is probably why the large area that I cover, and drive time, has never bothered me. I was Honorably Discharged as an E-4 SPC in March of 2010. With our branch being located in a largely military city, I feel my service has helped me to relate and build better relationships with our Customers.
Lawn Care Technician, Northwest Lawn Care
The military has helped me be able to work as a team to accomplish a common goal. It helped me learn how to work together as a team to accomplish a goal but it also teaches you to be self-efficient when you’re out doing your route on your own. NW is very veteran friendly and has a great family atmosphere that you see a lot in the military. The best thing I like about working for NW is the family atmosphere that they have created.
