Last week, our Cullman team had the privilege of celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at West Point High School. It was a joy to come together and host a lunch for the incredible educators who work tirelessly to nurture and inspire young minds every single day. The school community’s warmth made the event even more special, and we were honored to contribute in a small way to show our gratitude.
As part of the festivities, there were plenty of smiles, great conversations, and a little extra fun thanks to a visit from “The Mouse.” Watching teachers smile and laugh was a reminder of the positivity and dedication they bring to their work, even amidst challenges. These moments underscored the importance of showing our appreciation for the people shaping the future, one student at a time.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say thank you to the incredible educators at West Point High School and beyond. Your hard work, patience, and commitment make a difference in ways words can’t fully capture. We’re grateful to have had the chance to celebrate everything you do and hope the lunch and The Mouse’s surprise visit brought a little extra brightness to your week.

Our Alabama team had the honor of joining the vibrant community at Pelham in the Park, a wonderful event held at a local middle school that serves as a resource fair for multilingual families in the area. This gathering is all about connecting families with the tools and resources they need while celebrating the diversity that makes the Pelham community so special. We were thrilled to contribute by hosting a cookout, ensuring that everyone who attended had a delicious dinner to enjoy while engaging with the event.
The energy at Pelham in the Park was simply inspiring. Families, educators, and local organizations came together with a shared goal of support and inclusion. Our team worked hard behind the grill, serving up plenty of smiles alongside freshly cooked meals. It was truly rewarding to see families enjoying their time, connecting with each other, and accessing the valuable resources available to them. This past March, our Macon team rolled up their sleeves and joined an incredible group of volunteers for the Macon Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build. The week-long event brought the community together for a shared mission—to make a lasting difference by helping finish homes on Dorothy Avenue. It was more than just teamwork; it was a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved when people come together with a common purpose.
We couldn’t be more proud to see our Macon team extending a helping hand during this impactful week. From hammering nails to adding the final touches, their dedication helped bring these homes one step closer to reality for families in need. The Women’s Build is a shining example of neighbors supporting one another, and we’re glad to have contributed to this meaningful initiative that exemplifies compassion and effort.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Macon Habitat for Humanity for organizing such an empowering event and to all the volunteers who shared their time and talents to build something lasting. Seeing our community unite for this cause was truly inspiring, and we’re grateful to have been part of it. Together, we’ve helped create not just houses, but homes that symbolize strength, hope, and a brighter future. We look forward to continuing to support initiatives like these that uplift our community and its families.

This past week, our Macon team came together with one goal in mind – to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Equipped with a spirit of service and a deep sense of community, they assembled to-go food containers to support homeless individuals in our area. For us, this effort wasn’t just about handing out meals; it was about showing our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten.
The response was both humbling and heartwarming. Knowing how much even a single meal can mean to someone facing hard times reminded all of us why giving back is so vital. We saw firsthand the weight that kindness can lift and the hope it can inspire. What’s more, the teamwork and shared purpose that went into every step of the process reinforced our commitment to the Good Deed Team spirit – a culture of going above and beyond for others. It’s these small, thoughtful acts that ripple outward, creating more caring and connected communities.
For our Macon team, this was just one step in a larger commitment to doing good. To everyone who supported this effort, thank you for being part of something that matters. Together, we can continue to build a brighter, kinder future, one meal – and one good deed – at a time.

The Christmas season is a time for giving, and our LaGrange team embraced the holiday spirit with heartfelt efforts to make a positive impact in the community. This past December, the team came together to sponsor both a family and a child for Christmas, ensuring their holidays were filled with joy and warmth. Their generosity didn’t stop there—they also rang the bell for the Salvation Army at Walmart, spreading cheer while supporting a cause that helps so many in need.
We had teammates contribute to the festive spirit by donating two toys to Toys for Tots, bringing smiles to children who might otherwise go without. Each team member played a vital role in creating a memorable and meaningful Christmas for others.
The LaGrange team’s dedication to giving back reflects our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. Their efforts this holiday season are an inspiring reminder of what’s possible when we come together to spread kindness and joy. We are grateful for their compassion and look forward to more opportunities to give back in the years to come.
