November has become known as the month of expressing gratitude, and giving back is at all-time high during the month. The Northwest Carrollton team took this challenge of giving back head on and led with a true servant’s heart all month long. Led by the Carrollton Good Deed Ambassador, Molly B., the team has made it their mission to reach beyond the extraordinary and connect with others within their community to foster lasting and meaningful relationships.
During the month of November, the team partnered with Farish realty for the Operation Christmas Child drive. A national initiative, participants collect shoe boxes for children that will later be filled with toys for children in need for the holiday season. In addition to this project, the team has also started collecting food to drop off at a local church. Collecting non-perishable items from November 1st to December 20th, the team will drop the items off before the holidays.
Though focused on November, the Carrollton team has truly been extraordinary all year long. With October being Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the team wanted to not only educate themselves on what they can do to help but also give back in the process. The team found a local organization that supports domestic violence victims and was able to donate over 400 personal care products and 80 toothbrushes!
Valuing people and looking for opportunities to serve are at the core of who Northwest strives to be every day. We are grateful to have teammates that believe in these values and who utilize them to make an impact on those we serve in the community. Congratulations to the Carrollton team!
