Northwest’s Good Deed Team Hosts Backpack Packing Party to Benefit Greene County Students

Northwest Exterminating teammates continue to demonstrate the company’s commitment to giving back as teammates gathered at the company’s Team Support Center on June 23 for a Backpack Packing Party.
Nearly two dozen teammates came together to pack 200 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for students with special needs. Good Deed Team Co-Director Kristen Milligan set the tone for a meaningful afternoon of service by explaining why this initiative is so important. Kristen provided insight into the unique needs of the students.

The backpacks were specifically made for the Special Education Department based off of the needs of the 350 students registered this school year. The donation will be divided between students at Greene County Elementary School, Anita White Carson Middle School, Greene County High School, and Lake Oconee Academy.
Teammates from Bug House Pest Control, a team within the Northwest Family of Brands, made the special delivery to the school district on July 25.
This initiative is just one more way Northwest teammates live out the company’s mission to serve and support the communities where we live and work. Team Support Center teammates are looking forward to upcoming opportunities to support our local community.
