September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and our Miami Service Center recently participated in the annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital walk/run hosted in Miami, Florida. The commitment to giving back not only reflects our team’s servant’s heart but also their unwavering dedication to good deeds in their community.

Since 2017, the Miami team has been part of the run/walk charity event, demonstrating their dedication to creating a positive impact. The event holds a special place in their hearts and allows them to contribute to the incredible work done by St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

We’re grateful for a team driven by a customer’s first and servant’s heart attitude, continuing to possess the desire to serve those in need. We can’t wait to see what the team accomplishes next!

Our Newnan Service Center team has always believed in putting our Customers First and carrying a Servant’s Heart in everything they do. To them, it’s not just about providing extraordinary service, it’s also about giving back to the local community in meaningful ways. Recently, the team took on the endeavor to collect school supplies for 10 students at Ruth Hill Elementary in Newnan, GA.
Our extraordinary teammates collected notebooks, coloring pencils, and folders to create a gift bag of school supplies for the students who needed them the most. Northwest teammates understand the importance of education and the impact this will have on these students and their future. Even the smallest of efforts make a big difference!
The Newnan team is proud to be part of a community that values a servant’s heart. We’re excited to see the team serving their community and can’t wait to see what they can achieve next!

Our Monroe team truly understands what it means to Value People and possess a Servant’s Heart.
Recently, the team was made aware of the need for supplies at the Northeast Georgia Homeless Veteran’s Shelter (NEGHVS), located in Winder, Georgia.
Our team took it upon themselves to collect two vehicles full of supplies, including toilet paper, plastic cutlery, toothpaste, shelf-stable food items, cleaning supplies, and hygienic products.
They spent the entire month of June collecting these items and delivered their donations to the ministry at the beginning of July.

The NEGHVS is a 501C (3) non-profit Christian Ministry whose goal is to serve those who served our country.
The goal of the non-profit is to provide shelter, food, life, and job skills in a safe, clean, and Christian environment.
Being the only homeless veterans’ shelter in northeast Georgia, their primary focus is on being a ministry to those who need guidance and shining a light on the hardships that veterans can face after serving their country.
We are grateful for the Monroe team, who continues to make time to discover those who need assistance, no matter how big or small. Our team can’t wait until the next time they can give back!

Our Savannah, GA team is always creating ways for teammates to be involved and make a difference in their community. Recently, they hosted a First Responder Cook Out and invited all fire stations, sheriff’s office, and EMT personnel who service the Beaufort County area.

Northwest Good Deeds Team has been hosting First Responder Cookouts across the Southeast since 2017 and have hosted over 150 cookouts since our start. We look forward to them each summer and fall as our small way of saying thank you to all. The team was pleased with the amazing turn out!
Being able to host these cookouts means so much to our teammates. It’s an honor to be able to show our appreciation to our local first responders for what they do for us daily. Our Savannah teammates enjoyed this opportunity and look forward to the next one they will host. Thank you, Savannah team!

During Northwest’s Random Acts of Kindness Day, our Bonita Springs team, along with help from the Naples Service Center, made the time to put together Happy Hope Bags that were then donated to the local Ronald McDonald House.
The Happy Hope Foundation was founded in 2011 as a way to deliver hope and joy to children facing chronic and life-threatening illnesses nationwide and internationally. The purpose of the Happy Hope Bags is to engage the children in the hopes it will distract them from their long hospital stays. Our team was able to complete a box of kits for the Ronald McDonald House.
The Ronald McDonald House’s mission is to create, find, and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. They opened their first house in 1974 after recognizing the need for parents to stay close to their hospitalized children. Today, there are 380+ homes and other programs around the world.
Our team had a great time being able to bring some joy to the local community, no matter how small. They can’t wait until next time! If you wish to get involved with either charity, then be sure to visit both of their websites to learn more!
