Northwest Looks for Ways to Support the Northeast Georgia Homeless Veteran’s Shelter

A unique thing about all 30+ Northwest service centers actively working to be involved in their communities is that each month, new stories seem to arise on ways teammates have tried to support or help close to home. The Monroe, Peachtree Corners, and Corporate teams came together to support a local homeless veteran’s shelter near the Monroe service center.

The teams worked together to collect and donate items like food, snacks, toiletries, paper goods, and canned items for the men and women who utilize the shelter. After only a few weeks, the team was able to donate a truckload of items to the shelter.

The Monroe team made the donation in the second week of February. We’re thankful for teammates like these who look for every opportunity to make a difference in their local areas. The teams look forward to other opportunities to help in 2021.
