Canton Service Center Comes Together for Cherokee County Nursing Centers

Canton Service Center Comes Together for Cherokee County Nursing Centers

Our Canton Service Center found a new way to give back to the seniors in their community this holiday season. When they heard that the Cherokee Recreation & Parks Agency was collecting donations of socks and blankets for the Cherokee County Nursing Centers, they knew this would be the perfect opportunity to serve as a team.

Our team was able to collect and donate two baskets worth of items. While it may seem like a small way to support this cause, we are proud of our team for always continuing to look for way to make a difference.

The holiday season can be tough on many people, but these small acts can help make someone’s day. We are so grateful for our Canton Service Center joining together to collect donation items, especially when it is for such an extraordinary cause.

East Cobb Service Center Partners with Angel Tree for Christmas Sponsor

East Cobb Service Center Partners with Angel Tree for Christmas Sponsor

This holiday season presented our East Cobb service center with an unexpected Christmas miracle opportunity. One of our teammates brought the opportunity to sponsor a 13-year-old child this year for Christmas with the Angel Tree program through the daycare they use.

With so much that has gone on this year, our team was so excited to make this holiday season special for our angel. Our teammates came together and purchased clothes, shoes, headphones, and books for this child!

These angel donations help provide the magic of Christmas for thousands of underprivileged children and seniors. If you would like to help donate or learn how to adopt and angel for Christmas 2022, please visit https://angeltreeatlanta.org/ to learn more.

We are so thankful for our extraordinary teammates who look for every opportunity to make a difference, and we can’t wait see how they will continue this in the new year.

Monroe Office Partners with Hometown Heroes to Provide Gifts to Children

Monroe Office Partners with Hometown Heroes to Provide Gifts to Children

At Northwest, we believe that being humble means looking for opportunities to serve one another and to show we truly care. Our Monroe team made it their priority to uphold this Northwest standard by partnering with a Walton County annual Christmas event, Hometown Heroes.

Hometown Heroes is an annual event that allows underprivileged children to choose a hero to assist them with their Christmas shopping. This year over 390 children were given the opportunity to be sponsored and were able to have the Christmas they deserve. Our Northwest Monroe team assisted in donating money to this cause, and several team members volunteered their time to wrap gifts for the children.

The best part of it all was seeing the smiling faces of the children! The Monroe team plans on partnering with this program again next year. It’s important to recognize the incredible ways that we can help others, and we are thankful for team members who strive to provide a servant’s heart to our community.

Northwest Exterminating Monroe Service Center Helps Customer with Yard Work

Northwest Exterminating Monroe Service Center Helps Customer with Yard Work

Part of Northwest Exterminating that’s unique is that all 35+ of our service centers actively look for ways to honor our customers. Recently, our Monroe team came together to help an elderly customer who was struggling to get her yard work done.

Our teammate, James R., noticed the yard work that needed to be done. After talking with our customer about it, he learned that she had no one to help her and had been trying to do it herself. After James got back to the office, he got others together to go out and help finish this yard work.

Whether it’s helping carry in groceries, cleaning out gutters, or fixing flat tires, our teammates are always finding ways to lead with a servant’s heart and show how much we care for our customers. We’re thankful for teammates like our Monroe office who are able to see or hear a customer concern and look for ways to make even a small, positive impact. Seeing the team coming together to support our customers is what being extraordinary is all about for Northwest, and we’re grateful for a team that continues to keep their eyes open for ways to keep our customers first and serve them even better.
